If a classic,
action-romance novel
of today were to be read
by people from the sixteenth
century, they'd call it science
fiction. And rightfully so!
Yet that wouldn't make it science
fiction, would it? .... Would it?
(Even though their sci-fi fans would love reading it, too.)
That's how science fiction was meant to be, for everyone's reading enjoyment. And that's what June 2508 aims for.
[Italics are unreadable on a PC screen and underlining is for links, so I'm using small caps for emphasis]
I can't tell you all the good features of the novel because during these early months, I'm hoping for some astute, professional book-reviewers to spot them and publish them in a review. I'm sure you'd understand my initial deference for these experts.
I also don't want to excerpt here any of the brain-candies from the novel, because not only are those insights of human nature more enjoyable to examine when the story encounters yet another aspect of these present-day riddles, but with my luck, I'm liable to pick out a sour one! But here's a unrelated riddle of my own from Physics, which might be savory for all readers:
How is it that nothing can ever escape from a black hole. Nothing. (Not even a Nobel Prize!) Yet they glibly tell us that from the ultimate black hole (only!), in one Big Bang, everything escapes. Everything!
Liked that one, didn't you? (Don't try to solve this riddle—that might take you well beyond June 2508)
hmmm. . . okay, another giveaway: The novel is also good for a lot of laughs. But, please (please) laugh attentively! Otherwise you are bound to overlook the clues and then become baffled by the mystery underlying the story. For a unique and exciting sensation, I wanted the reader to also experience the novel. And placing the mystery into the novel was the only way of doing it.
We've reached the bottom of the picture. Now that you've SEEN THE WHOLE PICTURE, it's time for action! So here are the links for buying the novel:
